Mayfield Renewables Announces Laurel Hamilton as Head of Growth
Corvallis, OR — Mayfield Renewables has been a leader in consulting engineering and technical education for the solar-plus-storage industry since 2007. We are happy to announce that Laurel Hamilton has been appointed our Head of Growth, effective immediately.
This decision reflects Mayfield’s ambition to better serve the transition to distributed energy resources. This new role will lead the charge in identifying engineering and educational opportunities for clients and Mayfield Renewables to benefit from mutually shared success.
Hamilton, a ten-year solar industry veteran and champion of education efforts, is excited to advance Mayfield’s presence in the middle-market segment as the business focuses on microgrids, C&I, and small utility-scale solar and storage projects. Her dedication, strategic vision, and commitment to excellence have driven our recognition and strengthened relationships across the industry.

In her time at Mayfield, Hamilton has enjoyed representing our team of engineers and consultants and connecting the group’s expertise to where it is needed most in the industry. Recently, she spearheaded the inaugural Mayfield Renewables Education Summit in Austin, Texas. This event coalesced engineering and education with 15 technical sessions developed with quality and rigor by Mayfield engineers and led by internal engineers and some industry friends. Two hundred attendees from across the country joined in a meaningful full-day gathering.
